Biography
Amos Farror was licensed to trade with the Sauk, Fox, and Winnebago at Fever River settlements on the east bank of the Mississippi River in 1824. In 1831, he converted his warehouse in Galena, Illinois into his home. Farror was the partner of George Davenport and Russell Farnham in the fur trade along the Mississippi.​​
