Biography
In 1822, Chauncy Bush was an army contractor at Fort Saginaw. He became the co-owner of the Albion Mining Company, Lake Superior Mining Company of Eagle River (with John H. Kinzie), and Medora Mining Company.​​ For a period ending in 1844, Bush was a US Indian agent.
